Vasco Fino
Co-Founder
Just prior to founding Colares Capital, Vasco had real estate experience as head of business development at Optylon Krea. Currently, he is responsible for sourcing, deal execution, finance and investors relationship at Colares Capital. During his time at Optylon Krea he executed over € 100m in real estate acquisitions in the residential and high street retail sectors. He was also one of the responsible members for the fundraising of a 50m+ fund with individual investors to invest in high street retail and residential assets.
Albano Costa Lobo
Co-Founder
Albano founded Colares Capital right after a six years experience in fund management. At Colares Capital he oversees deal execution and all the operations of the Control Space Self-Storage platform with a particular focus in HR, Marketing and Revenue Management. Prior to founding the company, he worked in one of the largest public traded hedge funds, Man Group, with $150bn AUM. Albano was part of the investment team of Man GLG in London, managing sustainable equity income and responsible investment hedge fund strategies.
Francisco Parreira do Almaral
Partner
Francisco has a strong experience in strategy and business development in the logistics business as he worked closely with the Executive Board of CTT prior to joining Colares Capital as partner. At Colares Capital Francisco oversees all the real estate developments including a particular focus in ESG best practices. He is also responsible for sourcing and deal execution. Previously, he worked with the board of CTT on the company strategy, M&A decisions and development projects.
